Whats the problem with Ann Coulter?

Ann Coulter has achieved something very few achieve. She has gone so far to the extreme right, that even wingnuts think she is out of line and a lunatic. The remarkable thing with her is that she can always find ways to go further to the extreme and offensive. This time she wrote an article entitled "NEW IDEA FOR ABORTION PARTY: AID THE ENEMY" where she pretty much accuses the democrats of being traitors. In that article she makes some bizzare statements, like "The Democrats are giving aid and comfort to the enemy for no purpose other than giving aid and comfort to the enemy". The obvious question is does she believe what she writes? Is she really delusional? or does she deliberately make extreme bizzare statements for the simple purpose of attracting attention?

I am becoming more and more convinced that she is not delusional and she deliberately says big lies to attract attention. She is certainly not stupid and she is generally well-informed. She knows that the more extreme and bizzare things she says, the more attention she will get and the more books she will sell. I dont even think she has any political orientation. She says she is a "conservative", but I personally believe that she is completely apolitical and does not care about anything. All she cares is to sound as extreme and weird as possible. She is a joke and she is certainly not worth getting upset for. Her only power is the attraction she gets for her statements. Dont give her that power. Ignore her.
