The Foley Scandal and Joe Lieberman

Joe Lieberman is no different than Dennis Hastert and the republican politicians that were covering up Mark Foley and he proved it, when he said that the whole story has become a "partisan" issue. Firedoglake and Daily Kos have the video posted and the video does not lie.

As Kos points out "Lieberman (apparently) thinks it's okay for congressmen to run around the House preying on teenage pages. Why else would he adamantly refuse to hold people accountable for enabling Foley's sexual predation?"

I would be shocked if the people of Connecticut decide to send back in the senate Lieberman. People like Lieberman do not deserve to be in the senate or congress. At this point, I think honorable republicans who were planning to vote for Lieberman should reconsider their vote. In a similar way that they should reconsider voting for the corrupt leadership of the republican party.
