The numbers of dead in the disastrous Iraq war continue to rise. What is the congress doing?

I thought that the democrats won with a mandate to STOP the war. What are they doing? They should listen to people like Russ Feingold or John Murtha who seem to be the ones who have the guts to push a plan to cut the funding and get out. They should stop listening to the ridiculous republican propaganda that cutting funding is not supporting the  troops.   They should also stop repeating such idiotic statements that originate in the offices of Fox News and the RNC.

Cutting funding for the war is supporting the troops, because it is the only way to get them out of Iraq.   It is so simple and obvious.
