Lieberman in Iraq

Lieberman makes a surprise visit to Iraq and goes shopping. What an idiot.

This is what he said:
"Overall, I would say what I see here today is progress, significant progress from the last time I was here in December. And if you can see progress in war that means you’re headed in the right direction."

Why just shopping? If there is progress and things are going as great there as he things they are, why does n't he apply for a job there? He could be a great mayor of Baghdad or Fallujah or something like that.
