Pat Robertson and divine punishments

Pat Robertson said that the stroke of prime minister of Israel, Ariel Sharon, was a "divine punishment for dividing God's land"

It is well known that Robertson is a religious fanatic that says insane things all the time. But this time mullah Robertson went real far. Almost as far as when he called for the assassination of the president of Venezuela. It is so hard to believe that Robertson, together with some other similar wingnuts, are the people that kept Bush in the White House in 2004 by delivering the religious Christian right vote to him. It is hard to believe that a lunatic like him has influence on the president of the only superpower in the world. Unbelievable.
