Cllinton-Clark in 2008

I was looking at some recent polls of primary democratic voters for the 2008 presidential election. Among several democratic candidates, Hillary Clinton is leading by far in North Eastern States. Like: Maine, Connecticut, New Hamsphire, Massachussets, and others.

At this point, there is no other democrat with name recognition or support to really challenge her. This blog has, of course, endorsed Russ Feingold for a long time now, and I absolutely believe that he is by far the best candidate. However, he will face an uphill battle in 2008.

My prediction is that at the end Hillary will win the democratic nomination and that she will pick Wesley Clark as a Vice President. That will give the ticket a "tough" national defense and antiterrorism look. I also believe that they will win the general election. There is no republican ticket that could beat a Clinton-Clark ticket. McCain will be too old then and his recent affiliations with religious lunatics (Fallwell) will make him look double-faced and desperate. Guiliani would be the only serious competitor, but there is no way he can win a Republican primary. So, Hillary Clinton will end up being the president in 2008 and Wes Clark the Vice President. If you dont believe me, remember this post.
