Lamont Captures Large Number of Delegates. Lieberman's Campaign in Trouble.

As expected, Lieberman won the endorsement of the Connecticut Democratic Party in the State convention. Lieberman won 1,004 of the 1,509 votes. But Ned Lamont captured 505 votes, or 33 percent of the delegates, well more than the 15 percent he needed to force the primary.

Lamont said that the level of support he received at the convention will send a message to Washington that people are fed up with the war. "They are saying this war was a mistake and bring the troops home," he said.

Yep. Ned Lamont is right. We should bring our troops home and, also, send Sen. Lieberman to his new home (in Crawford, Texas where his friends are from). Lamont will pull a great surprise. He will be one of the most progressive senators in the senate. Remember me.
