Lieberman and the Schiavo Case

I had missed this one. Lieberman had sided with the wingnuts and the irrational extreme fraction of the republican party on the Schiavo case. Connecticut blog has a video of Lieberman on Meet the Press from those days. It is remarkable how similar were the views of Lieberman with Tom DeLay and the other wingnuts that had taken bizzare actions to interfere in that case.

There is only one conclusion I can draw. In some key issues, Lieberman is no different than right-wing extremists like George Allen, Sam Brownback and other republicans of the extreme right.
