I will be voting for John Edwards
It is final. I made up my mind. In the democratic primaries I will vote for John Edwards. I have to say that I came long way from being very critical of him, to be absolutely determined to support him.
My main problem with Edwards was his original Iraq war authorization vote in 2003. His original admission of error was not enough for me and I had questions for a while on how sincere he was on that. But his actions have now convinced me not only that he is sincere, but that he is our best hope for change.
One additional reason for my support for Edwards is his wife, Elizabeth. She is an amazing person who, I believe, will play an important role in an Edwards presidency. She will be very strong advocate for science, health care, and liberal causes altogether.
I believe that John Edwards is by far the best candidate in the field. He could end up being one of the best presidents in the history of the country. I will vote for him in the primaries, and I hope I will have the chance to do so in the general election.
