Cooking the Books

Republican Style. It is hard to believe that there are people that really believe this new slogan of the White House about the "surge" working. MoveOn was absolutely right to run this ad in the NY Times.

Oh and for those that dont's believe the cooking of the books. Below is some key info from DFA and Move On:

• The Los Angeles Times reports that people killed in car bombings don't count.
• The Washington Post reports that victims shot in the face don't count.
• The Center for Strategic and International Studies reports that Shi'a vs. Shi'a and Sunni vs. Sunni violence doesn't count.

So what counts? This is not just cooking the books. It is frying them in high cholesterol peanut oil.
