The culture of corruption in the republican party

Another incident of corruption in the republican party. Congressman Randy Cunningham pleaded guilty to conspiracy and tax evasion and faces up to 10 years in prison.

Whats wrong with the republican party of today? This was supposed to be the party of "moral values". Apparently the say "power corrupts and absolute power absolutely corrupts" is very accurate, especially as it relates to republicans. Hopefully in 2006 they will loose their absolute power in congress and that way they will have less problems. I mean less corruption.
