Republicans stepping aside

The republican-related scandals continue and grow. Representative Bob Ney temporarily quit his house post. It is anticipated that several others will follow soon.

The republican party is imploding. It has essentially become the party of corruption and the party of radical clerics. That's unfortunate but it is a fact. The moderate republicans that are entrapped there should openly voice their concerns, but they are apparently afraid to do so. If this continues that way, it would not be surprising if in a few months from now we witness a split in the republican party, with a group of moderates leaving. It all depends on how things will evolve with the corruption scandals.
