Capitol police apologize to Sheehan

They apparently realized their mistake . Interestingly, yesterday they also removed Beverly Young, the wife of republican congressman Bill Young of Florida, for wearing a shirt bearing words of support for the war and the U.S. troops.

The question is why did they only arrest and charge Sheehan yesterday? Why did n't they arrest and charge the wife of the republican congressman also? They are entitled to make mistakes and apologize later, BUT the mistakes have to be consistent. Especially if they happen at the same time in the same place. Is it that Sheehan was simply arrested because she is anti-war and anti-Bush? How could one explain such a discrepancy in a democratic society?
