The Paul Hackett Case

There have been many democrats that have been upset with Paul Hackett dropping off the race. Here is an example. There is also this article in Mother Jones that added more oil in the fire.

Naturally, I agree with progressive democrats and I dislike big time "conservative" democrats. However, I am not sure thats the case here. We have heard only from one site: Paul Hackett. We have not heard what Harry Reid and other senior democrats have to say.

There is no question that Paul Hackett is a good guy. However, that does not make him electable. And electability is a big thing these days. The country can not afford any longer being strangulated by the republicans, who control the senate, the congress and the White house. We need change and change can only come if we take back control of the Senate and Congress. For this to happen, we need democrats that will win elections.
