How on earth can Lieberman still claim that he is a democrat when everybody in the extreme far right wants him re-elected?

Lieberman must be defeated in August. The leadership of the democratic party has to behave responsibly and make clear to him that they will withdraw any support to him NOW, if he insists to run as an "independent". If they do not do it and he gets elected as an independent, they should be held responsible for the damage to the credibility of the party.
