Senators Against Progress

Below is the list of the senators who voted against the stem cell bill. They are 36 republicans and one democrat (pseudo-democrat), Ben Nelson of Nebraska. History will hold these senators responsible for blocking scientific, medical, and social progress. They are not that different from leaders in the medieval times who fought hard to stop social and scientific advance in the name of religion. They clearly do not deserve to be re-elected and, hopefully, voters will remember them when their re-election time comes up.
