George Allen For Joe Lieberman

Republican senator George Allen, yes the one who made the racist comments, has declared his support for Joe Lieberman. Armando in Daily Kos has an an excellent analysis on the issue.

Lieberman, the defacto nominee of the republican party in CT, has attacked Lamont for getting the support of Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson. And Amando comments on it:

"Mr. Sharpton and Mr. Jackson? Joe didn't want their support? How about the support of any African-Americans in CT? John Lewis coming back to Connecticut Joe? What a despicable campaign and what despicable people are involved in it."

We agree completely. Lieberman's campaign is despicable.
