Pinochet: A Monster Takes Responsibility For His Crimes
One of the worst criminals in history, August Pinochet, just celebrated his 91st birthday. The fascist ex-dictator of Chile, responsible for the death of thousands of Chileans, accepted "political responsibility" for everything that happened during his 1973-90 regime.
Pinochet is a criminal who overthrew the democratically elected President of Chile at the time, Salvatore Allende, and started a blood-bath in that country killing thousands of defenders of democracy. This Monster is still free. Here is what this criminal said during the celebration of his birthday:
"Today, near the end of my days, I want to say that I harbor no rancor against anybody, that I love my fatherland above all and that I take political responsibility for everything that was done which had no other goal than making Chile greater and avoiding its disintegration".
So, we have a mass murderer who is still free and insults the memory of the dead in that country by saying that he "cared" about his country. Why is this criminal still out? He should be incarcerated. Why is he still free?
