Credit to Ned Lamont
An article in the Hartford Courant gives a well-deserved credit to Ned Lamont for bringing up the Iraq war to the national debate in these elections. As the author points out:
"Lamont's message resonated broadly because he was the first national candidate to dare say what many people believed, that America was being driven over a cliff by an ideologue, a divorced-from-reality president, and a corrupt Congress".
The question is what will Lamont do next? I hope he stays in public life and he runs again for office. He deserves a lot of credit for the national democratic victory 2 weeks ago, despite losing to Lieberman.
