Anti-war Protest in Washington DC

Apparently, the anti-war protest in DC was massive. Jane Fonda summarized the whole issue in one sentence: "I'm so sad that we still have to do this, that we did not learn the lessons from the Vietnam War."

Thats the whole point. Young people are dying for the lies and the grandiosity of a failed ideology called "neoconservatism". What is most amazing is that the antidemocratic far right extremists that hang out and give interviews in Fox News started again the "Hanoi-Jane" story to counteract the massive opposition to the Iraq war. They are desperate. There is no one who believes their lies and bizzare plans any longer, and all they are left with is to attack Jane Fonda again! They are kind of sad in their desperation.

Anyway, the democrats MUST respect the voters and push legislation to cut all funding for the war as soon as possible. The only way to support the troops is to save their lifes and to bring them home. There should be no more deaths for the lies that started that disastrous war.
