Yes, this guy (on the left) was just found guilty. No, not by any tribunal in the Hague, but by a special world bank committee. There is no question that he will now have to leave the bank. It is only a matter of whether he will be formally fired or he will "cut a deal" to exit.
The extent of corruption of so many republican administration officials is beyond comprehension. The hypocrisy of these people has reached new lows. But Paul D. Wolfowitz is right about one thing: noone likes him because of his role in the Iraq war. As the NY times puts it: "he was a leading voice within the Bush administration pushing for the invasion of Iraq". So, the "architect of the Iraq war" was proven corrupt. What a surprise...
