Lamont-Lieberman debate. Lamont wins clearly.

.
The Lamont-Lieberman debate is over. It was a clear-cut victory for Lamont. The post-debate MSNBC poll (with 7125 responses counted so far) shows that 83% of the viewers thought that Lamont won and only 16% thought that senator Lieberman won.

Lamont came across as a man with vision who has real convictions and acts as a real democrat. Lieberman, despite being an experienced politician, came across as an angry old man, who thought that he deserves to win no matter what. A desperate old man who was willing to distort the truth constantly during the debate to gain some points.

Ned Lamont proved that he can be an effective senator for Connecticut and he was clearly more "presidential", or "senatorial" I should say, than Joe Lieberman.

Based on the outcome of this debate and the overall status of both campaigns, we predict that Ned Lamont will win the primary in August with a wide-margin.
