Lieberman, The Republican Congress, And The Schiavo Case

Michael Schiavo is campaigning in Connecticut for Ned Lamont. For good reasons. Lieberman, in agreement with republican extemists like Tom DeLay and others had joined then in the chorus of bizzare calls and actions to enforce feeding of the brain dead woman against the wishes of her husband. Not only were those actions a scary interference in the privacy of citizens, but they were extremely bizzare.

Michael Schiavo said. "Joe Lieberman is wrong, and that's why Joe Lieberman is going to be defeated."

Schiavo also said:“Joe Lieberman never met me, never met Terri. He didn’t know anything about us or about what Terri wanted (but) he and George Bush knew better than dozens of judges and medical experts.”
