The Collapse of Giuliani and the Rise of Huckabee

Guiliani's campaign has collapsed. Huckabee is now tied in the first place in the NATIONAL polls with Guiliani. That is not surprising. I had predicted all along that Rudy's campaign will collapse, not because he is socially liberal, but because of his association with corruption.

Anyway, I believe that the republican nominee will be Romney or Huckabee. Romney is more reasonable and will have a better chance in the general election (he would lose with the narrowest margin to the democrats). Somehow though, I believe that the republicans will elect Huckabee as their nominee. After all, they deserve someone like him. A theocrat who does not believe in evolution. They are the party of "values". They want to send the country another 200-300 years back. And Huckabee would be perfect for that. He could complete the destruction of the country started by W. The good news is that he is not electable. So civilization will likely survive.
