McCain, The Catholic Church, And Being The Scapegoat
So, John Haggee has called the catholic church the "great whore" . And McCain did not denounce his endorsement? Hello? This guy is clearly as bad as Farrakhan. And now catholics have started denouncing McCain, of course.
The more I look at McCain, the more sorry I feel for him. How low he has gone to get the job. Repeatedly lying and now accepting the endorsement of bigots and lunatics. And saying that he does not agree with some of the things that Haggee says is far from enough.
But what I find most amusing in the case of McCain, is the game that the far-right has been playing to him. I believe that the RNC and the nonconservative groups (gangs) that has been controlling the republican party knew well that 2008 will be a democratic year. So, they helped McCain win the primaries and, in some ways, humiliate himself by lying, flip-flopping, accepting bigot-endorsements etc etc. And they know well that he will lose in a landslide in November. They really dont like him in the republican party. And they are using him as the scapegoat for the destruction of they republican party. At the end, they will blame everything on him. Funny.
