Joe Lieberman. Why is he still in the democratic party?

Joe Lieberman continues to be a strong ally of Bush. He continues with the regular pro-war propaganda and misleading statements. Why is this guy still in the democratic party?

Mr. Lieberman, please leave the democratic party and go to the republican party and the neoconservatives where you belong. We had enough of you.
