Angry Lieberman storms out after his poor performance in the debate with Lamont

I watched again the Lieberman-Lamont debate a little while ago on CSPAN-2. There is no question that the performance of Lieberman was very poor. He was very aggressive, but in a bad way. He was very very angry. An angry old man who was already feeling desperate about the upcoming loss of his senate seat. He was reminiscent of a bully who is trying to get back something, but then realizes that what he wants is not possible. One could sense his deep hate towards Ned Lamont for "stealing" his seat. It was probably the lowest point in the political career of senator Lieberman.

There is also information that Lieberman stormed out early after the debate was over, because he was hearing a lot of about his anger during the debate.

Lamont will win in a landslide the democratic primary. I have doubts that Lieberman will keep his "pledge" to run as an independent. I think after a massive defeat in the primary, he will be simply forced to withdraw from the race. Ned Lamont will be the next senator from Connecticut.
