Mark Kirk. A reliable ally of president Bush facing defeat in IL-10.

It appears that congressman Mark Kirk is getting desperate with the new polls showing that the race is a dead heat. His keeps calling himself "independent" in his radio ads. Well, he is not independent. He is very much a pro-Bush republican that votes with the republicans over 90% of the time. What kind of independent is that?

Most importantly Mark Kirk is a supporter of the disastrous Iraq war and he still supports Bush on this issue. Of course, as many republicans he has previously received contributions from Halliburton. In addition, he voted with the conservative republicans in the tragic Terri Schiavo case.

Although Kirk has a good position on stem cell research, he is a terrible choice for the voters of IL-10. He is a reliable supporter of Bush who will back his leadership on important issues. In other words he is a reliable supporter of what is likely, the worst president (and vice-president), in the history of the country.

Dan Seals is a much better choice for Illinois and, hopefully, he will be elected congressman on November 7.
