Mary Landrieu campaigning in Connecticut against the democratic party
The worst (ok, maybe second worst after Ben Nelson of Nebraska) democratic senator in the country is campaigning against the democratic party and in favor of an obscure party called Connecticut for Lieberman. Instead of trying to help her state that still has not recovered from the Katrina disaster, she went to Connecticut to campaign for a defeated ex-democrat (Joe Lieberman) who has been a rubber-stamp for Bush, including his incompetent handling of the Katrina crisis.
Mary Landrieu is apparently neglecting her job as senator of Louisiana and has now turned against her own party. She does not deserve to be re-elected and, hopefully, the voters in Lousiana will remember that when she comes up for re-election in 2008.
UPDATE
Here is a statement of Laundrieu from today while campaigning with the chairman, and single member, of the Connecticut for Lieberman party (Joe Lieberman):
"We're going to have a better homeland security system tomorrow because of Joe Lieberman."
What kind of a judgement is that? She does not deserve to be re-elected. And I stick with what I wrote above. When she campaigns in Connecticut for an obscure party she neglects her job and her state. It is not the same as senators campaigning for the democratic party. She is waisting her time campaigning AGAINST the democratic party where she belongs.
