That's what Bush believes he can stablilize

This picture from Baghdad yesterday may be symbolic of what is going on there. Iraq as a whole is at a similar stage of disintegration with that house that was destroyed by gun fighting on Tuesday in Iraq (from Yahoo News). And Bush wants to stabilize Iraq by sending more American troops.

I never thought that W was particularly intelligent or sincere. But to believe that 20,000 troops would make any difference at this point is ridiculous.

I hope there is strong reaction in congress and Kennedy's bill creates an obstacle to this new insane plan of the incompetent Bush administration.
